The training log suggested a 7 mile run but today I thought I'd do something a bit different. So I put my two year old (Jemima) on the back of the mountain bike and we did an uphill/downhill 8 mile bike ride. She loved it and it made the training a bit more interesting.

The best way to enjoy your training I think - do what you want based on how you feel and how bored of running you may be - definitely the way to keep going!
Good luck John sounds like your very well prepared and will have a great race this year. You can nip round for a second lap if you want and that way you can join me as I drag myself over the finish line! Good Luck Regards Simon
Jon, I think you asked where I am starting - I am green zone H Regards Simon
Hi Jon,
I am very impressed with your additional endurance training. Nothing like a bit of variety to keep your mind and legs fresh. I am also in the orange start but don't fancy my chances of finding you amongst the hoards of runners. All the very best - have an awesome race and if I find you anywhere on course I'll make sure i start humming the rocky theme tune to keep you going!
